Speaker Jim Amann, on the state’s fiscal crisis. The legislature meets tomorrow in special session, for what will likely be Amann’s last session as speaker. Amann is running for governor in 2010.

  2. One sure thing is that all the incumbents were able to insure that there was a “blackout” on the true nature of the deficit until after the election. It sure makes the Courant and the Governor and the Republican minority look like a bunch of quislings.
