Are you GOOP’ers proud of that appearance?

If I were Dancing Rob I’d be wary of FoxNews, because at some point he might have to wear Hannity’s inflamed rhetoric.

PS — He did make Caliguiri look like a tutu-wearing sissy…

(for those who can’t stomach Hannity), the money quote is 1:35 in.

Heath, are you posting this to hurt Simmons, or to help him?

  3. Appearance helps him with the base GOP voters for sure and probably for fundraising nationwide and true enough it was sure more “fire in the belly” than Caligiuri’s appearance earlier

  4. Hannity obviously prefers Simmons over Caligiuri. He gives him five minutes and throws him softballs the whole time.

I think Caligiuri looked more “senatorial”, not getting into a pissing match with Hannity over the obvious fact that Dodd is a liar. No need to beat a dead horse (Dodd).

Simmons just continues to look like a Republican re-tread, because he is one. And this is why Hannity likes him better.

These were the same questions that he asked Caliguiri the only difference was the answers. When Sam doged the questions of “is Dodd a lying weasel?” Hannity then berated him and told him it was a simple agree or disagree question. Sam still wouldn’t take the bait and Hannity then berated him on sounding like just another politician who refuses to talk without beign evasive.

Perhaps Simmons saw Sam’s interview and knew which way to go with it lest he suffer the same Hannity beat down. Overall, I don’t think this helps his overall position but his interview definitely helped him with the Republican base. Simmons definitely showed more outrage (as much as he can show outrage) and desire to stop Dodd than did Caliguiri which is what the people, Hannity included, want right now.

Yeah, the people want someone who:
    A) thinks going on Hannity is a great way to launch a campaign, or

    B) someone who’ll just nod their head in approval when Hannity plays his exceedingly divisive game.

Yep. That’s what Connecticut voters want.

Can’t wait for the Limbaugh and Coulter apperances…

Sam will get softballs when a poll shows him up 16 over Dodd.

    Wow, that’s really weird!
I was just wondering the same thing about your comments!
