Forbes Magazine loves to rank things, especially cities. For example, earlier in the year they ranked America’s ten “most miserable” cities, which I hesitantly clicked through, expecting to find one of Connecticut’s urban areas on it (none were–though I’m glad I don’t live in Memphis now). They’re now ranking what they call the most “livable cities,” livability being measured by several quality of life indexes tracked by the federal government.
Interestingly, the Stamford/Bridgeport/Norwalk area comes in 4th, behind Portland, ME, Bethesda and Des Moines.
Here’s a Stamford Advocate story on the ranking, which is a nice piece of good news to start your morning with.
