Dodd Raises $1m for Re-elect

My Twitpic of the Tea Party at the State Capitol in Hartford today.

In other news, the Associated Press is reporting that embattled U.S. Senator Christopher Dodd raised $1 million for his 2010 re-election campaign during the first quarter of 2009, with $1.3 million cash on hand.  These figures will likely put to rest any further speculation about Dodd dropping out of the Senate race.

Okay Heath, no more speculation about Dodd dropping out. Not with that whopping $1.3 million on hand…

What planet are you guys on?

And what the hell was Rob Simmons doing at the New Haven “Tea Party” today? I went to check out the scene, and I have never seen so many redneck racists gathered together.

  3. Anderson – do you get out much? Have you seen the poll numbers? Felt the anger at your local grocery store / post office / school / gas station? Guess not. Last I checked there have been plenty of rich campaigns that have failed.

    Yes, I’ve felt the anger.

But for you guys to think you can play the populists, and use that anger to re-instate Republican rule…. it’s friggin’ absurd.

More likely we’ll see a wave of even more liberal and progressive Dems. Gosh knows we’ve got to get rid of the sell-outs and the corporatists if we’re going to see real change in America.

When is Rob Simmons going to come out and attack Big Oil, Big Insurance, and the Military/Industrial complex?

    Really…

Hey, it worked for the Democrats, didn’t it?

You’re right. I forgot that you Dems have the monopoly and are all knowing. Just like how you may have taken an economics course, might’ve remembered what you learned, but want to try an experiment to see what happsn when you ignore the laws of economics.

What does that even mean? Corporatists? Cuz everyone who owns a business is evil? You must be unemployed. No wonder taxes are rising. Oh wait… you forgot the economics classes… and history

Twitpic just sounds ridiculous. Why did the people who founded Twitter choose that name? What the heck were they thinking?
